Is there a timeframe to redeem the driving hours?
Driving hours must be utilised within 12 months from date of approval and lessons must be claimed within 30 days. Please contact CITB on 08 8172 9500 or careerdriven@citb.org.au if you are unable to claim within 12 months.
Do I have to use the same instructor for all driving hours?
No, you are not required to use the same instructor for all your driving hours. However, please note that the funding covers a total of up to 5 hours of lessons, regardless of the number of instructors you choose to use.
Will there be an instructor available in my area?
We have a list of preferred providers who can invoice us directly for the lessons. If none of these are available in your area, you can find your own instructor and use the pay-and-claim method. Alternatively, you can contact RAA directly.
Do I still need to pay for my final test?
Yes, you do. The Career Driven initiative is only for driving lessons and does not cover the cost of the final test required for you to gain your Provisional License.

2025 D2C students will receive their approval for Career Driven once their CITB number is approved.
