What if my student would like to do a D2C Advanced Skills Cluster that is not being hosted by a school?
Endorsed RTO’s can register programs that have been established under Minister Agreements.
Students will be able to register for a CITB number and have access to our support under these arrangements.
How do students in a FIP receive a CITB PPE Pack?
The PPE is ordered once the whole class are registered with an approved CITB number.
PPE packs are then sent to where the program is being delivered.
How do students in a Advanced Skills Program receive the short course subsidies (Whitecard and Cleansite)?
Schools coordinate through their ETP to facilitate the training. Funding is provided to the ETP through CITB’s claim process using the students approved CITB number. Schools will receive an invoice from the ETP for any gap.
How do students access the 3 free driving lessons?
Once your students have their approved CITB number they can register for Career Driven.
How to access CITB support
To access the support CITB provide for the Advanced Skills Program students must be registered with an approved CITB number.
CITB numbers expire after a year, so if your students will need to renew their CITB number.
Once students have registered, CITB will confirm with the ETP that the student is enrolled into an Advanced Skills Cluster.
